Irvine Talks
Irvine talks is an organization that aims to empower and elevate students from across the IUSD district. This year, it's theme was Sincerely, Me--- a chapter dedicated to reflection and authenticity. As the Graphics Publicist, I created posts for Irvine Talk's socials, advertised its events, and designed merchandise, all which can be seen below.

Triton Software Engineering
As a TEST designer for UCSD's TSE organization, we explored UI/UX principles whilst creating a organizational mobile app design, focusing on helping students discover and immerse themselves within UCSD's clubs.
Identifying the Problem:
UCSD students struggle to discover campus organizations and events outside of quick, in-person approaches because information about opportunities are overwhelming, time-constrained, and are communicated inconsistently, which causes students to miss events and feel disconnected from the campus.
-
How might we help students discover relevant campus organizations and events in a way that adapts naturally into their existing routines?
-
How might we support campus organizations in sharing information that is accurate and on time?
Process:
Now that we have found a problem, we set our sights on fixing such. After creating mood boards, identifying user personas, and solidifying our design systems, we narrowed down the core features that we wanted to include. I focused on the calendar aspect-- brainstorming ideas that would allow the user to keep track of their events successfully.

Hi-fi explorations-- trying out animations!

Final Thoughts:
Being my first design project, I learned a lot in the process. Figuring out user needs, conducting research, and navigating components to create the most intuitive process was a challenge, but the feedback received and lessons learned has helped propel me in my design journey. I am looking forwards to applying this knowledge to future large-scale studies!
ACM+DCO work
Associated Computing and Machinery (ACM): UCSD's largest coding+design+innovate community! As part of its development team, I created graphics, designed hifis, and collaborated across teams whilst working on its website.

Diamond Hacks:
Diamond Hacks is an annual 2-day Hackathon hosted by ACM. Every year features a new theme, and this year, I worked alongside other designers to craft the website focusing around magic, whimsy, and sorting houses.
To the left are some screens/graphics that I have designed.
Design CO: UCSD's largest professional design community. As a visual + brand designer, I created graphics and designed for events hosted throughout the year.
More to come... :)

ASIVC
As campaign publicist for Mahba Ahmad’s ASIVC presidential run, I designed student-focused posters highlighting her key promises—helping secure her election as president.

YouthCARES is an award-winning UCI organization that allows for students to learn and research environmental injustice and climate change alongside mentors. As the logo designer, I drafted multiple brainstorms of potential designs, branching from graphics to logotypes, as well as creating the final product.

Process
Working with YouthCARES, I was tasked to create a logo that embodied the youth-centered climate research group that was both simple yet expressive.
Problem: original logo was distracting and incoherent in execution
Ideation: Being an organization that spurs for student advocacy, the design would have to follow a youthful energy to attract a younger audience. Using organic, rounded shapes would draw a sense of comfort and detract from a corporate manner, in conjunction with light greens to compound the nature-oriented work.
Summary: Following the instructions, I drafted graphic-oriented designs, focusing on collaboration across generation, and themes of growth. Upon feedback, I brainstormed simpler logotypes with distinctive shape language, ensuring easy interpretation for viewers. When designing the actual prototypes I follow a five step routine:
